Why Integration Determines Outcomes

In the clinical literature, "integration" refers to the period following a psychedelic session during which the insights, emotions, and neurological changes from the experience are consolidated into lasting behavioral and psychological change. The evidence is unambiguous: what happens in the weeks after a psilocybin session determines whether a powerful experience becomes durable therapeutic benefit or fades into a vivid memory.
